The past weekend has been a very exciting weekend with both semi finals playing in South Africa....now the South African teams will be playing final. Great news for the country and for our national team.
How does one get to enjoy Rugby if they cannot afford? they play their matches on Supersport which happened to be a pay channel, their tickets are not so cheap...then if you are an ordinary South African who is doing an ordinary job does this mean you can not support Rugby? I think the amount of money you earn automatically disqualifies you from favouring certain sports with Rugby included

Comeon now!!!! for all the excitment and the drama, you've got to pay.......Even though I cannot afford.......
Damn, why did Shrks had to lead, I so badly wanted to watch the finals here. Okay, now I agree with you, going all the way to DBN is quite expensive. But NO!! even some soccer matches get to be far, formula 1 was hosted in DBN and we still had to pay to get there.
Ha, with tickets sold out its clear that prices will never go down cos we support anyways........
DSTV/Mnet will do for now!!
Dont worry love, kuzokulunga
Rugby mara, now what is this about Watson being not selected by the selectors but selected by SARU..i think that guy deserves to be playing for the national squad (Springbok)...he is very good hence he is the captain of the Stomers...eish this is too political i don't wanna get too involved
Let them keep their sport
Hi Thandiwe,
I got your link from Muzi's blog. Nice work guys! And wow i aslo see that Lhali is here as well! This is great guys! Technology is a great boon to society and i am worried that Africa is being left behind everytime it advances! The "digital divide" keeps growing! So guys lets keep the blogs going for Africa's sake!
Back to the topic...i watched the last minutes of the game. What a spectacle! Why didnt the Sharks keep the ball out of play for the last minute and win...STUPID hey! As for rugby being more inclusive....well that is a full blown topic by itself...i think very little is being done!
Hi Toto. Listen, I can afford DSTV and believe me, its not that hot either. Okay, so I am not a huge sports fan - but if its uniting the country the way it seems to be, then maybe I should start watching.
Maybe if we could get DSTV and SABC in some kind of fight for us, the viewers, then SABC would be forced to improve their shows and sports coverage, and DSTV would be forced to reduce their subscriptions. That way the whole country wins!
Maybe we should follow the strikers and boycott all television for one night a week. Imagine the advertising revenue they would lose? If we did that, we would all have DSTV and good SABC to watch.
